United Theranostics, the leader in outpatient radiopharmaceutical therapy and imaging services, is pleased to announce that Dr. Munir Ghesani, MD, FACNM, FACR, FSNMMI, is joining United Theranostics as Chief Medical Officer effective June 1, 2024.
Dr. Ghesani has practiced in the field of academic nuclear medicine for over 30 years, most recently as the Chief of Nuclear Medicine for Mt. Sinai Hospital in New York. His primary research interests are clinical and translational areas in theranostics, oncologic imaging and radiopharmaceutical therapy. Previous leadership roles include President of the Society of Nuclear Medicine and Molecular Imaging (SNMMI), Chair of the American Board of Nuclear Medicine, Chair of the Government Relations Committee, the FDA Task Force of the SNMMI, and Chair of the Nuclear Medicine and PET Accreditation Committee of the American College of Radiology.
